Phoenixville sends letter to East Pikeland Township regarding delinquent fire hydrant account

PHOENIXVILLE — Phoenixville Borough is asking East Pikeland Township to pay delinquent bills for fire hydrant protection service or fire hydrants will be shut off.

After an executive session on Nov. 13, council voted to send a letter to East Pikeland regarding the hydrant service. According to the borough’s letter, East Pikeland owes the borough $23,490.

The letter, dated Nov. 14, states, “This notice is valid for sixty (60) days, and termination of hydrant fire protection services may take place anytime after the fifteenth (15th) day of the date of this letter through and including the sixtieth (60th) day.”

The following hydrants would be shut off: 23 IFO Tarrytowne Complex; Route 23 East Entrance to Kimberton Square; Rear of O’Gradys in Kimberton Square; Rear of Kimberton Square Stores; Route 23 at KinderCare; Route 23 IFO: Burger King; Route 23 IFO: First Cornerstone Bank; Route 23 and Hollingsworth Drive; Covered Bridge Crossing – Rear of 301 Debbie Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing – IFO: 801 Donna Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing – IFO: 810 Donna Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing – Debbie and Donna Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing - 901 Debbie Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing – 1501 Denise Lane; Covered Bridge Crossing – 1605 Diane Circle; Covered Bridge Crossing – 2205 Dawn Way; Covered Bridge Crossing – Hollingsworth and Doris; Shoppes at VF – Entrance by Bank; Shoppes at VF – Corner at 204 Schuylkill Road; Shoppes at VF – Rear of Redners Store; Shoppes at VF – Rear of Complex; Shoppes at VF – West Side of Main Entrance; Shoppes at VF – Route 23 West of Main Entrance; 835 Township Line Road – Royersford Foundry; and Route 23 in Advanced Auto Parking Lot.


East Pikeland Township Manager had no response to the letter except that she was forwarding it to the township’s solicitor.
