PHOENIXVILLE —This year the Phoenixville Area High School, for the first time, was named an AP District of the Year, one of only 539 high schools in North America.

Dr. Craig Parkinson, PAHS principal, was proud of this accomplishment.

“The faculty at PAHS has made it our goal to provide each student the opportunity to access more rigorous courses and prepare them to be successful when they leave us,” Parkinson said.“Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and have demonstrated that through support, hard work, dedication and a strong desire to learn, they can make it happen. It is an honor to serve such an academically focused group of students, alongside a very passionate staff.”
