PHOENIXVILLE —Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center recently opened a 10,000 square ft. office on the same campus as Phoenixville Hospital at 826 Main Street. The opening furthers its commitment to serve patients in the surrounding area and strengthening its alliance with Phoenixville Hospital. The new office will offer the full range of on-site orthopedic physician services as well as ancillary support services such as physical therapy, x-ray and orthopaedic bracing.
PAOC’s board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, specialty physicians and staff are committed to providing the highest quality musculoskeletal care available where the patient’s needs come first. The PAOC doctors are known as some of the top in their specialty and are regularly honored as “Top Docs” by Main Line Today magazine. Not only do the center’s physicians use the latest surgical techniques, but they helped pioneer some of the orthopaedic advancements that have been seen throughout the years. PAOC specializes in total joint replacement, spinal care, both surgical and non-surgical techniques, arthroscopic surgery for the knee, shoulder and hip, foot and ankle procedures and care, as well as sprains, strains and fractures. In an effort to minimize pain and get patient’s back to their daily activities, PAOC utilizes minimally invasive techniques that allow them to preserve most of the surrounding anatomy whenever possible.
Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center, was formally known as Ruggiero Orthopaedic Associates and was established in 1978 by Robert A. Ruggiero, M.D., F.A.C.S. Ruggiero started the practice with the goal of keeping active people active with enhanced performance and improved quality of life, which still stands today after a 34 year history. PAOC has enjoyed an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality orthopaedic care in quality settings, close to home. They pride themselves on being available to patients when they are in need. In most cases, patients are offered same-day appointments.
