KIMBERTON — Charity and art will be intertwined during upcoming the 6th Annual Empty Bowls event.

The event, which features a simple meal of soup and bread along with a handcrafted bowl, will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, at the Kimberton Fire Company’s Covered Bridge Room, 2276 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville. Participants keep the bowls as a reminder of the need to end hunger locally and globally. No alcohol will be served at the event.

Proceeds benefit Phoenixville Area Community Services.
