A Pink First Friday in Phoenixville on Oct. 5

PHOENIXVILLE — Check out Phoenixville’s First Friday on Oct. 5. The town will be lit up with pink lights for cancer awareness as a partnership initiative with Paint the Town Pink For Pete’s Sake. Families are invited to learn about fire safety and prevention. The 200 block of Bridge Street will be closed for the fire safety and prevention program. Children can tour fire trucks from Phoenixville Fire Department. The pink fire truck will also be there. At Phoenix Village Art Center, the Anvil Artists exhibit is opening. Enjoy musical entertainment from Hot Sauce Junkies, DVD, Dennis McDonough, Half Lit, Jackie Cooper, Fiorenza-Downlin, Fabulous Taco Bros., Lights Out, Rock & Roll After School and Stimmler Bros.
