ROYERSFORD — Spring-Ford High School parents will have the opportunity to experience what their son or daughter does during a typical school day as part of an open house scheduled later this month. The event was previously scheduled for Sept. 19, but was cancelled due to a power outage in the district.
Parents of students in grades 10th through 12th are invited to attend an open house at the high school, located at 350 S. Lewis Road in Royersford, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Parents must know their child’s first period room number and report there at the start of the evening. They will be able to travel from class to class, meet their child’s teachers and learn about academic expectations for the year. In the cafeteria, many of the school’s clubs will be there to answer parents’ questions and explain their activities.
Light refreshments will be served in the school’s cafeteria.
“We look forward to welcoming all of our parents and encourage them to come out for the open house, so that they can meet their child’s teachers and find out more about high school expectations and opportunities,” Spring-Ford Area Senior High School Principal Patrick Nugent said.
