TV celebrity Tina Fey gave a local community theatre group a big boost when she plugged their summer stage program right from the set of 30 Rock. Facetime Community Theatre, a new non-profit group in the Phoenixville/Collegeville area, was lucky enough to be the recipient of Fey’s sincere and enthusiastic endorsement.
Noting that she benefitted from a summer stage program in southeastern Pennsylvania in her childhood, Fey encourages people to check out Facetime Community Theatre’s programs and to make a generous donation. Fey points out that in the current climate of budget cuts that eliminate arts programs from the schools, families can turn to groups like Facetime for high quality, affordable programming and great training for their kids.

Facetime is hosting an upcoming fundraiser, “Fall in Love with Facetime,” scheduled for Oct. 5, 2012 at Franklin Commons.
