PHOENIXVILLE — “Farragut North,” the 2008 Pulitzer Price and Tony Award winning drama, will open the Forge Theatre 51st season. The show will run Sept. 7, 8, 15, 15, 16, 20, 21 and 22. Reservations can be made on www.forgetheatre.org or by calling 610-935-1920.

“Farragut North” is based on Howard Dean’s 2004 campaign for U.S. President. In a presidential election, more than the candidates’ futures are on the line. The campaign puppeteers who script every word and plot every move fight to keep their own political careers alive past November. It’s a game in which friendships cannot exist and the only person you can trust is yourself.

Directed by Jeff Cronin, the show features Mike Shoeman, Steve Schulz, Bryan McVeigh, Maria Jarrell, Elizabeth Boehm, Troy Fisher and Ian Alexander. The production team consists of Christa Wisneski, producer; Andrea Cronin, assistant director; Keegan Peters, stage manager; Clem Mirto, set design; Mike Fitzgerald, lighting design and Brian Miller, photography/video.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended. For further information, visit www.forgetheatre.org.
