The Freedom Valley YMCA is pleased to partner with area Target stores to help children begin the 2012-2013 school year with the confidence necessary for successful learning. Twenty-five children from each of the five Freedom Valley YMCA branches will receive a $100 gift certificate to shop for school items at either the Oaks or Royersford Target locations.
Target has set the stage for the event offering kids meals and employee personal assistants to guide Bright Beginnings students through a back-to-school shopping experience for 125 children and their shopping buddy volunteers.
On Aug. 14, children from the Audubon YMCA and Phoenixville YMCAwill participate in theback to school event with Target. On Aug. 15, children from the Spring Valley, Pottstown and Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCAs will participate in the event.
