More All-PAC-10 spring teams announced

The 2012 All-Pioneer Athletic Conference track & field teams for boys and girls have been announced based on finishes at the PAC-10 Championship Meet.

Phoenixville senior Ali Thomas made the first team in the girls high jump and Spring-Ford senior Mikaila White made the first team in the 10 hurdles. Spring-For’s Jennifer Yeakle made the first team in the discus, and the Phoenixville 4x40 relay of Jacine Durrell, Lisa Payton, Amy Kowalick and Rachel Carr also made the first team. Pope John Paul II’s Devon Player made the first team in he javelin.

Phoenixville’s Rachel Carr made the second team in the 800 and the 4x10 relay of Jacine Durrell, Lisa Payton, Amy Kowalick and Rachel Carr also made the second unit. Brianna McDo9nald tied for second team in the pole vault.

Spring-Ford’s Mikaila White was named in the 100 and 300 hurdles, and Natalie Thomas in the high jump. Pope John Paul II’s Molly McKeon made the second team in the 160 and 320. PJP’s Marley Golatio was recognized in the javelin.

Honorable mention went to Spring-Ford’s Nikki Lynch in the 80, Kristen Overton in the high jump, Nikki Lynch in the javelin and Akunna Okere in the discus as well as the 4x80 relay of Haley Preschutti, Samantha Christman, Maggie Locke and Audrey Burger.

On the boys’ side, Phoenixville’s Travis Andrews made the second team in the long jump along with the 4x40 relay of Tyler Timmins, Ryan Marks, Saybrim Medina and McKenzie Thomas.

Spring-Ford’s David O’Such made the first team in the 400, Joe Bush in the triple jump, Ryan Pierson in the pole vault and Andrew Scanlan in the javelin. The Rams’ Jesse Magolon, Xavier Ingram, Adam Musetti and Joe Such took honors in the 4x80 relay.

Spring-Ford’s Andrew Scanlan made the secondteam in the 100 and 200, Joe O’Such in the 400 and PJP’s Jacob Gribb in the javelin.

Phoenixville’s McKenzie Thomas made honorable mention in the 400 and Chris Mullin in the 1600. Spring-Ford’s 4x100 relay of Mike Novarina, Nick Ondo, Eric Miller and Abndrew Scanlan was recognized as well.
