Elijah Beckham, 29, of Middletown, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to one to six years in state prison in connection with his participation in a string of retail thefts in Montgomery County, including Lansdale and Conshohocken boroughs, and Upper Gwynedd, Abington, Whitpain, Lower Merion and Montgomery townships.

The board held the conditional use hearing on July 16 and unanimously granted the conditional use.

In February the board approved zoning changes to permit town houses in the I-industrial district with a conditional use hearing.
