PHOENIXVILLE — Good Samaritan Shelter will be holding its 5th annual Run By The River and Walk for the Homeless on Saturday, May 18, at Longford Park on the Schuylkill River Trail.
All money raised from the event will support the work of the Good Samaritan Shelter.
Participants can register as an individual or as part of a team. All participants receive a t-shirt, refreshments, access to toilet facilities, timed finish and instant results. Awards given to top finishers in each age category.
Directions: From Bridge Street in Phoenixville, head toward Produce Junction. Turn right on Walnut Street and then go 1.4 miles to Longford Park.

Since 2002 the Good Samaritan Shelter has been serving the needs of homeless men in the greater Phoenixville area. Today, the organization owns five buildings on High Street and provides shelter and services to more than 100 men annually.
