SCHWENKSVILLE — Schwenksville Borough Community Day offered something for everyone this past weekend.

Community Day was held on May 4 at Meadow Park, 300 Main St. Families enjoyed seeing various animals at What Knott Farm’s traveling petting zoo including Japanese Silky Chickens, tortoises, rabbits, ducks, a rooster and many other animals.

Attendees also watched the Hilarious Magic of Sam Sandler, a local deaf magician. Members from the Jerusalem Lutheran Church put on a puppet show and a choir performed for attendees.

Musical entertainment included Ted the Fiddler.

Proceeds from Schwenksville Community Day benefit the Summer Concert Series held at Meadow Park from June to September.
