Pet of the Week: Fiona

Photo courtesy of Spay and Save Fiona the Tortoiseshell doesn't mind living with dogs, but she prefers to be the only kitty.

Fiona is a beautiful dark chocolate colored Tortoiseshell with some honey markings. Fiona is extremely friendly with her human companions. She is OK around dogs but would, however, prefer to be an only kitty. Fiona loves to roll over and have her belly rubbed while she purrs exuberantly.

If you are looking for one of the friendliest cats on the planet, Fiona is the kitty for you! Fiona and four her kittens were found in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia where Fiona protected them from the harsh street elements. The entire family was scheduled for destruction when one of our volunteers pulled them out of the shelter. The kittens have gone off to their new homes so Mom is all alone just waiting for her forever home.
