ROYERSFORD —Mishock Physical Therapy & Associates, a physical therapy practice in the area, is partnering with the PAC-10 to create school spirit across the district.
In conjunction with PCTV, Mishock Physical Therapy sponsored the 6th Man Spirit Contest that took place during the entire Varsity Basketball Season across the district.
In an effort to conjure up school spirit and support for the athletes, PCTV announcers, who attend games at every school in the district, made it known that the cheering section was an important part of the season. These announcers also served as the contest judges. This year Spring-Ford was chosen as the winning district and will receive a donation of $250 from Mishock PT along with an engraved trophy that will travel each year to the next winning school. (Last year the prize went to Methacton).
There was a check and trophy presentation ceremony on Tuesday, March 26, at the senior high. Present to accept the award from Dr. Mishock and his marketing director Danielle Wallace was Spring-Ford Athletic Director McDaniel, Superintendent Goodin, Principal Nugent, and several of the 12th grade boys and girls basketball team members.
