PHOENIXVILLE — The borough’s planning commission will feature two new faces following the resignation of two of its members.
The resignations of both Estes Parker and Harry Weaver from the planning commission were accepted unanimously at Jan. 8’s Phoenixville Borough Council meeting.
In their place, Mike Kuznar and Shai Perednik will serve on the committee.
Kuznar, who already served a Middle Ward representative on the borough’s redistricting committee, will take over Parker’s seat. The term is scheduled to end in March 2016.
Council approved Kuznar’s appointment unanimously.
Perednik was approved by a 7-1 vote to fill Weaver’s seat, which expires in March 2014.
Councilman Karl Bucus was the lone dissenter in Perednik’s appointment.
According to Kuznar, three had interviewed for filling the vacated seats.
