Phoenixville Public Library will offer a presentation of Dani Johnson’s “War on Debt” program on Thursday, January 17 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Adeline Johnson will be the presenter. Mrs. Johnson, an Oaks, PA resident and mother of four, states that her life has been radically transformed through the coaching of Dani Johnson, international speaker, author, and business & finance expert. Adeline will share her story and introduce a video presentation of Dani’s program to help people pay off debt without making more money than they do now and to teach people the difference between wise and foolish spending.

This program is free and is open to members of the community who want to improve their financial literacy, one of the five literacies promoted by the PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries initiative launched by the Pennsylvania Library Association in early 2012. Seen any good movies lately? You will at the next Movie Night at Phoenixville Library. On Thursday, January 10 at 6:30 PM, the Library will screen “All the President’s Men” (1976, rated PG, 139 min.). Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford star in this intriguing, Oscar winning thriller -- the true story of the Watergate break-in -- based on the best-selling book by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.

Divorce Support Group as Grove United Methodist Church

A support and discussion group for people in or through a divorce process is beginning January 22nd, open to all, Tuesdays 7-8:30 p.m.

Child care is provided. There is a $20 materials fee, but scholarships are available.
