PHOENIXVILLE —Phoenixville Area High School Theatre Guild announces this year’s fall play, “Romeo & Juliet” by William Shakespeare. Unique staging and dramaturgy adds amusing interest to familiar intrigue in telling the tragic story of two “star-crossed lovers” from feuding families. An ambitious undertaking, the production includes thrilling stage combat choreographed by Kimberlie Cruse.

Directed by Craig Tavani, the cast includes Andrew Ball as Romeo, Abby Gould as Juliet, Jack Beran as Mercutio, Noah Deichmann as Benvolio, Dante Collazo as Tybalt, Joe Casiano as Friar Lawrence accompanied by Lindsey Smith as Sister Joan and Sadie Behrman as Nurse, with many other superb performers in both ensemble and speaking roles.

The show will be performed at the PAHS auditorium on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 2 as a 2 p.m. matinee. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, and may be ordered on-line through Seat Yourself on the high school website at http://www.pasd.k12.pa.us/page/418 or the Theatre Guild website at http://www.pasd.k12.pa.us/page/445.
