SPRING CITY — Seasons is bringing its Celtic music to Chaplin’s, the Music Café this week.
Seasons will perform on Thursday at Chaplin’s. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the bands start performing at 8 p.m. The other artists playing that night will be Connor Mulroy,Angie
Viglione, and The Herd of Main St.
Seasons has played as a band for nearly 10 years. Though band members call central Pennsylvania their primary stomping grounds, their time as a band has found them playing in multiple states up and down the east coast and appearing on multiple national and international radio and TV Programs and networks such as FOX News and EWTN, the national Catholic Cable Network.
Seasons also opened for artists such as Grammy award-winning Christian artist Ashley Cleveland and for Internationaly acclaimed Celtic/Gypsy Rock band Scythian.
The music of Seasons has a unique but familiar feel, as it is stooped in a timeless Celtic and Folk tradition yet centers around the rarely heard shimmering tones of the Hammered Dulcimer and Celtic Harp.
Seasons’ members believe in honoring the tradition of Irish Folk music while allowing it to grow and expand, that is why the majority of the repertoire is comprised of their own compositions.
